Business Intelligence Consultant (New)

Neubrain provides Enterprise Planning, Business Analytics, and Business Process Management solutions to Global 5000 Enterprises, Midmarket and Government Organizations. Neubrain Business Intelligence Practice is experiencing a rapid growth and is looking for a new team member to help build our practice. The position requires a broad range of skills and the ability to step in to different roles depending on the project requirements. The qualified candidate would have significant experience designing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions.

• Technical experience: 3 - 5 years of experience developing Business Intelligence solutions leveraging one or more of the following technologies:
  • Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Analysis Services
  • Cognos PowerPlay, ReportNet, and Cognos Enterprise Planning
  • BusinessObjects OLAP Intelligence, Performance Management, etc.
  • Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management
  • Other tools: Outlooksoft, Microstrategy, SAS
• Business intelligence architecture and concept experience; solid understanding of multidimensional database architecture
• Exposure to data warehousing and data marts
• Budgeting, financial analysis and financial modeling expertise
• Business process analysis and redesign experience
• General consulting skills, including: project management, meeting facilitation, business case development
• Strong analytical and modeling skills, ability to solve complex problems
• Bachelor's degree required
• Ability to travel up to 80%

Neubrain is looking for an experienced Cognos Developer based in MD. Qualified candidates should have 2 years of experience in a Data Warehousing role.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge on Cognos ReportNet, Powerplay, Transformer, Impromptu, & Framework Manager
• Cognos certification preferred
• Strong knowledge on Data Warehouse concepts
• Experience working with ETL tools
• Experience with DB2, Oracle, and SQL
• Experience with Web-based development applications
• Good communication skills and experience working with end users
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Sr. Corporate Performance Management (CPM) Specialist

Senior CPM specialist participates in broad, complex and critical CPM, Business Intelligence, and Data Warehouse engagements, providing guidance and direction to other team members. CPM specialist performs analysis of customer requirements and contributes to the deployment and enhancement of CPM methods, processes, and technical capabilities.

Requirements:

• Experience in Cognos Enterprise Planning 7.2 (Adaytum 3.0 with Contributor)
• Prior experience in the office of finance or planning in one of these roles: Director/Manager of Reporting, Director/Manager of Planning, CFO, Controller, Sr. Financial Analyst, etc.
• Solid Background (5-10 years) in Corporate Finance or Accounting, including: Budgeting, Forecasting, Planning, Consolidations, Allocations, Transfer Pricing (Banking), Currency Translation
• Hands-on experience as a user or administrator with one or more financial systems: Lex2000, Hyperion, Comshare, SRC, Longview, Cartesis, OutlookSoft, Oracle Financials. Must have solid advanced Excel skills, in building powerful complex templates
• Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
